Guy’s career spans finance, entrepreneurship, forestry, and agriculture. After working at Avco Finance and managing the Caisse Populaire de Clair, Guy owned a used car business and a trucking company. He then spent twelve years as co-owner of Gilles Bégin Lumber, with sawmill operations in New Brunswick and Maine, as well as value-added production in Clair.

Today, Guy is the CEO of COFNO, an organization that plays a leading role in the development of haskap cultivation in New Brunswick. Drawing on his business experience, he is motivated by helping primary producers strengthen their businesses, derive more value from their work, and contribute to thriving local economies.
