Ross Stairs brings a passion for a healthy and active lifestyle, along with decades of leadership experience, to his role as Vice President of Haskap NB. Retired after a 35-year career in the energy sector, which included several management positions, Ross found a new and rewarding perspective in cultivating haskap berries.

His journey began in 2022 when he was introduced to this premium berry and its potential to support a healthy lifestyle. Inspired to learn more, he became a grower and has spent the last four years gaining hands-on experience in haskap cultivation.

Through Haskap NB, Ross works closely with the association’s partners to strengthen relationships, support growers, and raise public awareness of haskap. He enjoys meeting people who share his enthusiasm for this berry and helping more people discover its place in a healthy and active lifestyle.
